I think it’s just due to size and relative scarcity. Some people just don’t want to collect such big “cards” although some T3s can get very expensive and some low pop sets also do really well. At the end of the day it’s a crapshoot to some degree but usually the cool cards catch up (like the W600s have).

That e107 Cy is Awesome. I do have a successful farming Jax that I could dangle as some trade bait. Here are my few e107s, and my favorite Cobb/Wagner Card (Jeff poster the other) and a cobb and wagner, bc why not

Amen, I couldn't agree more. Eventually the hobby appreciates the cool cards, even if the size is a little unusual.

Ryan-Thanks! I have never collected E107s and have no plans to. The only reason I got the Young was it was one of the best looking cards I had ever seen and I didn’t have a Young card. The image I posted does not do it justice(it is in a slab saver baggy). The grade is because it has two small areas of paper loss from scrapbook removal on its’ ad back.

These are nice cards with good eye appeal. I have always liked the name and look on the Mello mint ad backs.

I think what makes baseball cards so collectible is their size. You don't have register them, little to no maintenance. A Ferrari 308 is a an equal, for me, but it's too much maintenance.

Forgot to say, the Baltimore News Ruth would be the king of baseball cards.

So just out of curiosity what do you think a Balt News 2 is worth? The Trout could go over 3M I hear.
Hi Steve, JoeT here. I firmly believe a “2” Baltimore News Ruth sells for $2 - &2.5M in this market. I know several well-funded people anxiously waiting for one to become available & would expect a huge bidding war for a “2” Ruth.

I hear it’s the SGC card and apparently owned by someone with 2 copies. I imagine we will know soon.
